Compassion and Empathy

Green Tara is a Buddhist goddess of Compassion. She is a feminine representation of the Buddha, and one of the twenty-one Taras born when the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara (the first eternal Buddha) cried tears of compassion as he witnessed the suffering of humankind.

Green Tara is a goddess of action, as shown by her vibrant green color, and she quickly appears when we are most in need of empathy and compassion. She is a refuge and comfort, acting to help us grow and expand into enlightenment. This is why she is known to be the savior who hears your suffering and encourages you to overcome difficulties. She is a nurturing and kind goddess who has an enlightening and interested influence on us when we seek her.

The “Sacred Mothers and Goddesses” carry their energy through their image and form similar to how a Crystal carries it’s energy to us. You can work with them and allow them to work with you.
